More than 800 children and their families attended the Kids Fair organized by State Senator Sue Rezin on June 7 at the Fox Valley YMCA in Plano. The event was held in collaboration with Representative Jed Davis, the YMCA, and the Plano Area Alliance Supporting Student Success (P.A.A.S.S.S.). It provided a day of family activities and access to local resources.
The fair included an indoor expo featuring vendors from local organizations, health and safety agencies, and community services. An outdoor "Touch a Truck" display was also part of the event. Children participated in face painting, live performances, animal shows, and other activities offered free of charge to attendees.
