V. Animal Control Report 

1. AC August Report

Angela Olson gave a brief summary of the Animal Control report. The committee voted and approved a motion to give the Director authority to reduce adoption fees, when appropriate, to help reduce the length of stay of animals at the facility.

Angela Olson presented the 2025-2026 Animal Control Intergovernmental Agreement with municipalities. The board voted to move the ordinance to full board with positive recommendation.

1. Variance Granting Relief from Grundy County Highway Access Regulations - Dan Bullington, East Grand

Eric Gibson and the committee discussed how to go forward with the split properties, this property and the one next to it. The committee proposed that the two properties share access on the west side. This was approved to go to Board.

B. Resolution Approving Repair Quote for Tandem Axle Plow Truck - $57,068.00, Kankakee Truck Equipment

1. Resolution - Rehabilitation of Tandem Truck

Per Eric Gibson, he is looking for committee approval to send Resolution for Rehabilitation of 2009 Tandem Truck to full County Board. There were three companies that quotes were requested: Koenig, Monroe Equipment and Kankakee Truck. Monroe Equipment quoted $62,190 and Kankakee Truck quoted $57,068. Koenig did not return a quote. Eric noted that the $57,068 is in the budget. Committee approved resolution to County Board.

Per Eric Gibson, he noted that he, Mary Kucharz and Russ Baker have not been able to meet about this variance and he asked that it be tabled until September.

B. Gorman Road Update 

Per Eric Gibson, per D Construction all trees cleared and fencing moved.

C. Sherrill Road Update 

Eric Gibson gave a brief update on Sherrill Road project.

D. 2025 GM Projects Update 

Eric Gibson gave an update on the general maintenance work for 2025.

Per Mary Kucharz, there is nothing unusual to report.
