Carbon Hill home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Carbon Hill fell by $42,450 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $121,300 - a 25.9% decrease over the $163,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Carbon Hill in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Carbon Hill for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,329, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
