South Wilmington home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in South Wilmington rose by $47,150 while total sales decreased by 35.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $109,900 - a 75.1% increase over the $62,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in South Wilmington in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in South Wilmington for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,758, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
