V. Local Agency Financial Support Requests

Bob Navarro, Heritage Corridor, requested $4000 to help promote tourism.

Marian Gore, GC Historical Society, requested $5000 to assist with their needs.

Michelle Micetich, Carbon Hill Historical Museum, requested $3000 to help pay for a map case.

Christina VanYperen, GC Chamber, requested $5500, which is $.50 per unincorporated resident.

VI. Old Business

Michelle Pruim reviewed the report with the committee which reflected that at the end of July 67% of the County subsidy had been used.

The resolution was positively recommended to the County Board.

A discussion was held regarding the stipend for the Liquor Commissioner. The matter will be further discussed at the next Personnel meeting.

VIII. FY20 Budget Reporting

George Gray reported that at 73% through FY2020, the GF revenues are at 58%, expenditures 62%.

Matt Melvin provided updated information on the Countywide Sales Tax. He stated that through August, 2020 sales tax revenue had decreased 10.06% from August of 2019.
