Gardner Community Consolidated Grade School District 72-C Board of Education met Dec. 17.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The school board meeting was held on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Denny Christensen called the meeting to order at 6:58 PM 

Roll call 

Members Present: 

Terri Balcom, Denny Christensen, Nick Hamilton, Brad Male, Jerry Olsen, Lauren Vitko, Jamie Wilkey 

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE (during Special BOE meeting at 6:50 PM) 

Superintendent Recognition 

● Dr. Merritt commended Paula Wade for her hard work assisting with bus duties, facility clean up and kitchen help 

● Dr. Merritt commended Haley Woods for her hard work coordinating her first Virtual Holiday Musical for GGS K - 5 students

Motion to approve Board of Education minutes from November 2020 1st: Wilkey, 2nd: Christensen

Financial Business

Motion to approve payment of bills for the month of December 2020. 1st: Wilkey, 2nd: Male

Motion to approve payroll in the amount of $93,818.41 (gross) $72,093.10 (net).

● Dr. Merritt shared that Grundy County has approved Blended Pre-School Program
