Village of Coal City Planning and Zoning Board Met March 15.

At 7 p.m., chairman Georgette Vota called to order the regular meeting of the Coal City Planning and Zoning Board in the boardroom of the Village Hall. In attendance were members Maria Lewis, Jill Breneman, Richard Crotteau, and Amanda Burns. Absent were Irving DeWald and John Hawkinson. Also in attendance were Trustee Dave Togliatti, Matt Fritz, village administrator and Kyle Watson, deputy building inspector.
· The minutes of the March 1, 2021 meeting were presented. Burns moved to approve the minutes as presented, second by Lewis. Roll call-Ayes; Lewis, Breneman, Crotteau, Vota, and Burns. Nays; none. Absent; DeWald and Hawkinson. Motion carried.
There was no Public Comment at this meeting.
The Final Plat for the Blackstone P.U.D. was presented to the Board for approval. Mr. Bernie D'Orazio has completed the development and Kankakee Street ROW is now the legal property of the Village, Lewis moved to approve the Final Plat of the Blackstone P.U.D., second by Crotteau. Roll call-Ayes; Lewis, Breneman, Crotteau, Vota and Burns. Nays; none. Absent; DeWald and Hawkinson. Motion carried.
The 2021 zoning map was reviewed. Kyle Watson, the document preparer, explained the changes and revisions to the new map. Additional changes were noted:
• Chestnut Street-Bob's Advanced Auto should be Zone 1
• Reeves Funeral Home property on First Street & N. Kankakee Street should be in Zone 3
• The Wren property next to the BNSF railroad at S. Kankakee Street should be in Zone 1
Burns moved to approve the 2021 Coal City Zoning Map with the noted amendments, second by Crotteau. Roll call-Ayes; Lewis, Breneman, Crotteau, Vota, and Burns. Nays; none. Absent; DeWald and Hawkinson. Motion carried.
Crotteau moved to adjourn the meeting, second by Burns. All signified by saying aye. No one opposed. Motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
