Village of Minooka Village Board Met May 25.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Village President, Ric Offerman, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Trustees present: Terry Houchens, Dennis Martin, Dick Parrish, Barry Thompson, Robin White and Gabriela Martinez. Also present: Dan Duffy-Village Administrator, Sean Kelly-Village Engineer, Police Chief-Justin Meyer, Village Treasurer-John Harrington, and Public Works Superintendent-Ryan Anderson.

Changes to Agenda – Village Administrator mentioned that Item 9c is an Ordinance, Item 9d dollar amount is $18,840.60 and 11i no action is needed as it is combined in Item 11h.

Review of the Minutes from the Village Board Meeting of May 5, 2021

Trustee Parrish moved, Trustee Martinez seconded the motion to approve the Village Board Minutes from May 5, 2021.

Ayes: Houchens, Thompson, Martinez, Martin, Parrish, White

Nays: None

Absent: None

Motion carried.

Bills and Transfers

Trustee Martin moved, Trustee Parrish seconded the motion to approve the Bills and Transfers.

Treasurer’s Report

Trustee Martin moved, Trustee Thompson seconded the motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report.

Public Forum

President Offerman opened the Public Forum at 6:33 p.m. Chief Meyer recognized Sergeant Gary Fiedler on his 31 years of service with Minooka Police Department. Sergeant Fiedler received many achievements and numerous awards for his commitment to our community. President Offerman also congratulated him for his years of service.

No one else spoke. President Offerman closed the public forum at 6:40 p.m.

Village Administrator Dan Duffy read the following:

• Resolution Approving LOC Reduction (FCL Builders Kellogg)-2021R-3191 

• Resolution Approving pump replacement at ridge road lift station-2021R-3192 

• Ordinance declaring Village Surplus property-2021-12

• Resolution approving Aux Sable Springs Tree Proposal-2021R-3193
