Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) recently gave a talk on politics and energy at the University of Chicago.
In an April 18 Tweet, Rezin announced that she was on her way to participate in a panel discussion with Christian Mitchell, Delmar Gillus, Jr., and Pat Devaney.
"On my way to Chicago to participate in a @UChiPolitics' panel discussion with @cljmitchell, @vumilio, and Pat Devaney about last year's energy legislation and what it means for Illinois' energy future," Rezin said in a tweet.
The University of Chicago Institute of Politics also tweeted about the event on April 18. "Climate week at the IOP starts TODAY at 5:30 pm with a discussion on Illinois' new climate law and our state's future. Featuring @cljmitchell, @SueRezin, @vumilio, and Pat Devaney (AFL-CIO IL).
Rezin spoke of the work she did last year to keep Illinois' nuclear power plants open. The panelist discussion can be viewed here.
Last September, Rezin praised the signing of Senate Bill 2408, which ensured that the state's nuclear fleet remained online.
